The patented HYPERICE technology is based on the principle of combining cold and compression. This combination is significantly more effective than using cold on its own.
The cold compression is achieved through a two-part system that works together perfectly:
The ice chamber of the wrap is positioned perfectly in the desired location and secured in place using vacuum technology – via a valve through which the air inside can be removed. The compression sleeve, made from high-quality neoprene, ensures close contact and firm pressure between the ice chamber and the body area, whilst simultaneously protecting the skin from hypothermia.
The ice compartment can be filled with ordinary ice; crushed ice or small ice chunks work best. No additional water needs to be added. We recommend using Hyperice Fuel as a cooling agent.
The Hyperice shoulder compress features a compact design for a perfect fit on any shoulder. The multi-layered compression distributes the cold optimally across the entire body area.
