Eric Lazar schloss sein Studium der Physiotherapie an der University of California, San Francisco, mit einem Master of Science ab. In Australien erhielt er eine umfassende Ausbildung im Ansatz der manuellen Therapie sowie in der Sportmedizin. Er praktizierte fast 10 Jahre in der orthopädischen und stationären Behandlung in den USA und zog später nach Spanien, wo er zunächst in einem Physiotherapieprogramm unterrichtete. Gegenwärtig unterrichtet und betreut er Patienten an einer Chiropraktik-Schule in der Nähe von Madrid, wo er täglich Konzepte und Praxis des FMS (Functional Movement Systems) einfließen lässt.

The FMS Test Kit to take with you! The new FMS Test Kit (measuring in cm) is made from laminated bamboo with a urethane coating (for even greater durability), making it extremely robust and hard-wearing. The FMS Test Kit can be split in half, making it easy to transport. The side bars can be screwed into the kit and easily packed away again. Grip tape on the underside prevents the kit from slipping during testing. Laser-engraved measurement markings are easy to read and do not fade. To make it easier to transport and store the Professional FMS Test Kit, you’ll receive an FMS carry bag. The FMS bag can also be used to carry the straps and rods. Motor Control Screen – Stabilising, balancing and controlling movement Functional Movement Systems has bridged the gap between the screening of fundamental movement patterns and performance screening. The ‘Motor Control Screen’ Slidebox determines whether a person can achieve maximum adaptability with the minimum level of motor control. The box is based on research into the Y-Balance Test, which assesses the components of motor control. It is an excellent way to quickly assess motor control abilities in both the upper and lower body.
