Description
The amount of force a muscle can generate is determined primarily by the brain and the central nervous system. The muscles are ‘merely’ the organs that carry out the work. This book explains to strength athletes – whether professional or amateur – how the brain can generate optimal force through neural methods.
Lars Lienhard, Germany’s leading expert on neuro-centred training, demonstrates the most efficient methods for harnessing the full potential of the muscles and significantly improving strength performance. The more than 70 illustrated exercises are clearly presented and can be performed anywhere. Specialised programmes help you optimise your own training and thus boost your performance. This book will revolutionise strength training and enable new levels of peak performance.
