Training zones rather than equipment areas
High-quality equipment forms the basis of any hybrid training area. With the right concept, this creates a training experience that inspires people and makes gyms more successful. We provide everything you need from a single source. How having your own training area enhances what the club has to offer
Naturally, the focus of any sports club is on its particular sport. However, athletic development does not take place exclusively on the football pitch, in the hall or on the playing field. Strength, stability, flexibility and explosiveness are important physical attributes that can be specifically trained even outside the context of the sport itself. Having your own fitness and training area can provide exactly the right opportunities for this.

Small space, high standards
A hotel gym has to meet many expectations at once: it should be functional, offer a variety of training options, blend in with the hotel’s design concept and provide guests with a high-quality training experience. At the same time, there is often only a limited amount of space available. This is precisely why, when planning, it is essential to consider the space, equipment and usage together right from the start.

Stronger, not just pain-free
A patient comes in with back pain. They receive treatment, it helps – and three months later, they’re back in the waiting room. Every physiotherapist is familiar with this pattern. Yet this is no longer inevitable: functional training has become an integral part of modern rehabilitation – and is transforming what a physiotherapy practice can achieve. Sales expert Daniel Fitschen explains what this looks like in practice, the role the right equipment plays, and how Perform Better supports therapists on this journey.

Recovery wins
For a long time, this third step was regarded as an afterthought – a passive rest period that simply happens of its own accord. Today we know that if you do not actively manage your recovery, you are squandering much of the potential benefits that therapy and training could deliver. For physiotherapists, gym owners and personal trainers, this presents an opportunity – and a clear responsibility.

How HYROX & hybrid training are changing the requirements
Hybrid training is changing not only the content of training – but also the fundamental requirements for everyone involved: athletes must train differently, coaches must structure training plans differently, and gyms must provide suitable equipment and spaces that are optimally equipped. In the traditional approach to fitness, skills could largely be developed in isolation: strength training in the equipment area, endurance on the treadmill, and technique practised separately in the exercise room. This model reaches its limits in hybrid training and in preparation for HYROX.

Train to race
HYROX turns fitness into a competition. Moving away from isolated training approaches, towards a performance-oriented, comparable and competition-like form of training. Redesigning the Recovery Zone
Functional training, HYROX, strength & conditioning or athletic training – modern training concepts are becoming more intense, more demanding and more performance-oriented. Yet this is often where a crucial bottleneck arises: recovery.
But real performance gains don’t happen during training. The most successful facilities are now creating holistic experiences: training + recovery + wellbeing.
