Achieving absolute peak performance using the latest scientific findings
The demands placed on us by everyday life are enormous: we are expected to deliver nothing less than absolute peak performance at all times and under all circumstances – peak performance. Very few manage to keep up with increasing pressure and an ever-faster pace without their own health suffering as a result.
Brad Stulberg, a former McKinsey consultant, and Steve Magness, a coach to Olympic athletes, were the first to scientifically investigate the phenomenon of peak performance and demonstrate that: It doesn’t matter in which field you want to reach your peak – everyone can find their own strategy that works regardless of the goal set, and which can be applied to professional careers and sporting competitions as well as to creative processes and personal life.
PEAK PERFORMANCE combines inspiring stories from top performers in sport, research and the arts with the latest findings from neuroscience – the result is a life-changing strategy guide that reveals all the secrets to success. For anyone who wants to achieve consistent peak performance, Brad Stulberg and Steve Magness show how this can be done.
